Kollokationen im DWDS-Wörterbuch und ihr Mehrwert für DaF/DaZ
Collocations and their relevance for learners of German as a Foreign Language (GFL) in a digital dictionary using the example of the DWDS
Der Beitrag skizziert die Komplexität der Repräsentation von Mehrwortausdrücken, besonders Kollokationen, im „Digitalen Wörterbuch der deutschen Sprache“ (DWDS). Da Kollokationen eine besondere Rolle im Spracherwerb spielen, zielt die moderne Lexikographie darauf, diese lexikalischen Einheiten in einer benutzerfreundlichen, leicht auffindbaren und ausreichend detaillierten Form darzustellen. Im vorliegenden Aufsatz wird die im DWDS etablierte Methode der Dokumentation von Kollokationen anhand von Beispielen illustriert und der sich daraus ergebende Mehrwert für DaF-Lernende vorgestellt.

The article outlines the complexity of representing multiword expressions, especially collocations, in the „Digital Dictionary of the German Language“ (DWDS). Since collocations play a special role in language acquisition, modern lexicography is concerned with the question of how to represent these lexical units in a user-friendly, easy-to-find and sufficiently detailed form. This article illustrates the method of documenting collocations established in the DWDS by means of examples and discusses the added value for GFL learners.
